This is Not Right.

Got home tonight- message from his mother. The co-op we live in has denied his inheritance.

I was afraid of moving in here without all the paperwork being done. We;ve lived here 2 years now. I was always afraid.
"You worry too much, it won't be a problem. Nothing will go wrong." they told me, over and over, rolling their eyes at my paranoia.

Well now. It looks like I was right.

His mother will talk to the lawyer Monday. The lawyer will take it from there. I am afraid. "Don't worry, everything will be fine." they say, a little nervously now.

Everything is at stake. We could lose our home, my plans for the future, all of it is at risk. I'd like to just say to hell with it and leave, but, we know that won't happen.

Did I mention that I qut smoking yesterday?
