The forecast for tomorrow...
Mar. 4th, 2003 04:22 amWednesday the 5th? Rain. Lots of it. 47 degrees and rainy. The protest meets at Senator Clinton's office at 5:30, then marches down to Washington Square for a candlelight vigil. In the rain.
I don't want to go. Even if it were a warm, lovely summers' night, I have found I don't enjoy going to protests (odd thought, that. is it something one is supposed to enjoy?) I don't like crowds, and I'm intensely paranoid about getting arrested. Still, if I didn't go, I'd be sitting at home thinking; "Silly, lazy bitch. Awfully convient convictions, aren't they?" So, off I go, like an idiot, hopefully surrounded by many other fools, in the rain.
Blah. I'm actually rather amused, in a dry, sort of 'what next?' way.
Pray that I don't get arrested, injured, or come down with the flu, would you?
Thanks.
Jade
